WHY DIETS OFTEN FAIL

It’s not willpower. It’s biology.

Up to 80% of body weight is determined by genetics. Diet and exercise alone often can't shift the body's defended weight.

  • Hunger signals

Some people's brains never get the 'you're full' message. Willpower becomes a constant battle.

  • Set point

Up to 80% of weight is set by genes. Your body has a defended weight — and diets alone often can't shift it.

  • Modern medicine

Modern, clinically-proven treatments target your body's natural fullness signal, helping you feel satisfied with less food.

Fusenite cannot name the specific medications used in our weight plans on this page, due to Australian Therapeutic Goods regulations. Your doctor will discuss the exact options with you, including how they work and side-effect profiles, during your consultation.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Everything you need, in one place.

  • Modern medication if appropriate

Your doctor will discuss treatment options that may be suitable for you during your consultation.

  • Care-team support

Care-team messaging during Australian business hours. Doctor messaging where clinically appropriate.

  • All-in-one digital tracking

Weight and lifestyle metrics in the Fusenite app — visible to your care team.

  • Dietitian referral pathway

Where your doctor judges it clinically appropriate, we refer you to an external Australian dietitian.

  • Guided programme from day one

Step-by-step onboarding so you know exactly what to expect at each stage.

  • Temperature-conscious fulfilment

Where temperature-sensitive treatments are prescribed, fulfilment is handled by a registered Australian pharmacy with appropriate cold-chain handling.

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

Patients in clinician-supervised weight programmes often describe a quieter relationship with food — fewer cravings, smaller portions feeling enough, and more space to focus on lifestyle change. Outcomes depend on consistency, the right plan for your biology, and ongoing follow-up with your doctor.

Individual results vary. Treatment is only provided where clinically appropriate after consultation. Eligibility does not guarantee treatment.

THE RESET PROGRAMME

One simple programme. Honest pricing.

That's $6.63 a day for clinical care — less than your morning coffee.

Reset

Australian-doctor weight care, kept simple at launch.

From$199/ month
  • Initial 30-minute video consultation with an Australian-registered GP
  • Personalised treatment plan, where clinically appropriate
  • More frequent doctor reviews than standard general practice
  • Care-team messaging during business hours
  • Dietitian referral pathway where clinically appropriate
  • 30-day money-back guarantee on the membership fee
  • Medication, where prescribed, invoiced separately by your fulfilling pharmacy

Medication, where prescribed

If your doctor prescribes medical treatment, this is billed separately by your fulfilling Australian pharmacy. Typical monthly cost ranges from approximately AU$300 to $550 depending on dose and product, paid directly to the pharmacy. We do not charge a markup on medications.

Following consultation, your doctor may issue a personalised treatment plan, which may include medical treatment if clinically appropriate.

We’ve kept the programme simple at launch so you know what you’re paying for. As we add services like dietitian-supported meal planning and AI-assisted nutrition tracking, you’ll see them announced here — not buried in a premium tier you didn’t sign up for.

IS THIS RIGHT FOR ME?

Honest about who we can help.

Right for you if…

  • Adults 18+ whose weight isn't responding to lifestyle alone
  • BMI ≥ 30, or ≥ 27 with a weight-related health concern
  • Looking for medical, doctor-led care — not a fad
  • Comfortable with a long-term, monitored approach

Not right for you if…

  • Currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy
  • Personal/family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2
  • Active eating disorder (current or recent)
  • History of pancreatitis

Final eligibility is determined by your Australian doctor during consultation. Not all patients are suitable for medical treatment.

WEIGHT IS

Biological, behavioural, and medical.

Sustained change usually needs all three working together. Diet alone often isn't enough; medicine alone isn't either.

Biology

Up to 80% of weight is determined by genes. Your body has a 'set point' it defends — and lifestyle alone often can't move it.

Behaviour

Food, sleep, stress, and movement all matter — but they're easier to sustain when biology isn't fighting you.

Medicine

Modern, clinically-proven medical treatments target your body's natural fullness signal. Combined with the right support, the maths starts to favour you.

THE FUSENITE METHOD

Lose fat. Keep muscle.

Up to 40% of weight lost on treatment can be lean muscle. Slower metabolism makes regain more likely. The Fusenite programme is designed for fat loss, not muscle loss.

PILLAR 1

Metabolism

Your doctor monitors how your body responds and adjusts the plan. Bloodwork at 24 weeks confirms key metabolic markers.

PILLAR 3

Community

An optional patient community for shared accountability — opt in or out at any time. Privacy first.

Cold-chain delivery availability depends on medication type, fulfilling pharmacy, stock, and patient location. Your doctor and pharmacy will confirm what applies to your plan.

  • Real-time consultations

FAQ

Weight Management questions.

Will I need a blood test?

When beginning treatment your doctor may ask you to complete a blood test at a local pathology clinic. Most pathology is Medicare-rebated.

What happens when I stop treatment?

Modern medical treatments are most effective long-term for sustained weight management. Patients should continue treatment until sustainable behavioural changes are formed to support outcomes — your doctor will discuss this with you.

Are there side effects?

All treatments come with risk; those experienced on Fusenite weight plans are usually temporary and manageable. Free consultations with the nursing team are available daily for any concerns.

Is this PBS-subsidised?

For most patients, no — Fusenite operates as a private subscription service. PBS subsidy for some weight-management treatments is currently limited to specific clinical criteria. Your doctor will discuss eligibility with you.

Why don't you discuss treatments by name on this page?

Due to Australian Therapeutic Goods regulations, we are unable to discuss specific treatment options on a public page. Your doctor will discuss the exact treatment, how it works, and side-effect profile with you during your consultation.

Why a programme fee on top of medication?

The programme fee covers your Australian-doctor consultations and reviews, care-team messaging support during business hours, the Fusenite app, and the welcome kit. Medication, if prescribed, is invoiced separately by your fulfilling pharmacy so you only pay for what your doctor recommends.

What if treatment isn't right for me?

If your doctor decides treatment isn't appropriate, you don't pay for the consultation. Eligibility does not guarantee treatment.

Do you support patients in regional Australia?

Yes. Cold-chain delivery reaches every postcode Australia Post Express covers. Video consultations work anywhere with a phone signal.

Can I keep my regular GP?

Absolutely — and we encourage it. With your consent we can write to your regular GP about your Fusenite plan so they have the full picture.

How much weight will I lose?

Individual results vary considerably and depend on your starting point, the treatment your doctor prescribes, and your lifestyle work alongside it. Your doctor will set realistic expectations specific to you.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There are no lock-in contracts. You can cancel from your Fusenite dashboard or by emailing care@fusenite.com.

Ready to start?

The 2-minute eligibility check is free. You're not charged until your doctor approves a plan.
