Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Fusenite collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal and health information. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (quiz responses, account details, photos if you upload them), information your doctor records about your care, and technical information about your device and how you use the platform (IP address, browser, page interactions).

2. Sensitive information

Health information is sensitive information under the Privacy Act 1988. We collect only what is necessary to provide care: your medical history, medications, allergies, symptoms, and any pathology results your doctor orders.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide consultations, treatment plans, and ongoing care
  • To process payments and deliveries
  • To communicate with you about your care
  • With your consent, to share information with your regular GP or specialists
  • To improve the platform (in aggregate, de-identified form)
  • To comply with legal obligations (audit, regulatory reporting)

4. Where your data is stored

All Fusenite data is stored in Australia (Sydney region — ap-southeast-2). Health information does not leave Australia.

5. How long we keep it

Health records are retained for 7 years from the date of last treatment for adult patients (longer for under-18s, as required under state-based health-records legislation). After this period, records are permanently deleted.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with: your AHPRA-registered doctor and the Fusenite team members involved in your care; service providers under binding privacy obligations (payment processor, email/SMS sender, pathology lab if ordered); and authorities where legally compelled.

7. Your rights

  • Access a copy of your record
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Restrict certain uses
  • Delete your account
  • Receive a list of every party that has accessed your data

8. Notifiable data breaches

If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner within the timeframes required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

9. Cookies and analytics

We use first-party cookies for authentication and analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider that does not set tracking cookies or share data with advertisers.

10. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be notified to you by email at least 30 days before they take effect.

11. Complaints

If you’re not satisfied with our response to a privacy concern, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
